     Presented a Symposium on
     Transcriptional Regulatory Mechanisms

      on Saturday, May 22, 1999
     9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
     The University Club of MSU
     3435 Forest Road

Symposium Description
Transcriptional mechanisms and transcriptional control are at the heart of many biological processes. The goal of this symposium is to highlight a broad spectrum of recent advances in this rapidly developing area of research. The format of the meeting is designed to enhance scientific interactions so that students and postdoctoral fellows can hear research talks by leaders in the transcription field and then meet informally with these scientists at the poster session and during breaks.
