Construction Notice:  Starting the week of June 24, 2008, construction work will begin on the north and east sides of the Cyclotron Building.   This project involves the construction of a 4 story office addition on the north face of the current building and a new high bay on the east side.   The first few months of the project will involve fencing off the construction area, earthwork, extending a 12 water main, demo of a portion of the Cyclotron building and removal of light poles and sidewalk.  Due to the close proximity of the building to east bound Shaw Lane, a portion of the south east roadway will be fenced off.  Metal fencing will be used similar to the Chemistry Project.   The substantial completion date for this project has been set for April 30, 2009.  During the period of construction, please use caution around construction areas and equipment.  Detailed information of the project will be discussed at a pre-construction meeting to be held sometime prior to the start of construction.  A formal meeting invitation will be extended to necessary building contacts once the date of the meeting is known. Please pass this information on to all necessary faculty and staff. Any questions, comments, or concerns can be directed to the Project Representative, Sharon Joy at (517) 432-0165, sljoy@pplant.msu.edu
